These terms apply to services supplied by Acme Shipping & Logistics (UK) Limited, a company registered in England & Wales with number 06708240 and registered office at Regus Southampton Airport, International House, George Curl Way, Southampton, England, SO18 2RZ.
All business is transacted under the current edition of the British International Freight Association (BIFA) Standard Trading Conditions, which limit liability. A copy is available on request.
Quotations
Quotations are valid for 14 days and assume the cargo, dimensions, weights and dates supplied are accurate. Rates exclude duties, taxes, demurrage, storage and any third-party charges incurred outside our control.
Airfreight — dangerous, hazardous & prohibited goods
Hazardous and prohibited items are not accepted on our air services, in line with CAA rules. As the sender, it is your responsibility to ensure your consignment meets air shipment criteria and any destination-country rules. Acme Shipping is not liable for consignments damaged, confiscated or penalised as a result. Cargo insurance is available on request at the customer's cost.
Customs and documentation
You are responsible for providing accurate commercial invoices, packing lists and any licences required for export or import. We act as your agent for customs clearance and rely on the information you supply.
Liability
Liability is limited as set out in the BIFA conditions. Cargo insurance is strongly recommended and can be arranged on request.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
